Matt McNeel, Nitro High School's all-state candidate, is
questionable for this week's game against Nicholas County but should
return for the Wildcats' final contest against Poca, said Nitro head
coach Greg Cyrus.
McNeel strained ligaments in his knee in the Wildcats' 52-22
loss to George Washington on Sept. 29. He has sat out two games _
a 27-6 loss to St. Albans and last week's 7-0 victory over DuPont _
while undergoing therapy.
McNeel, a flanker-defensive back who's being recruited by some
Division I-A schools, had 31 receptions for the year when he went
down.
