NITRO GRIDDERS SEVEN PLAYERS WHO COMPETED FOR NITRO HIGH
School's football team last season will continue their careers in
college, announced Wildcats' head coach Greg Cyrus.
The seven include Matt McNeel, who was signed by Wake Forest;.
Clint Withrow and Jerry Whittington, West Virginia State; Eric White,
West Virginia Tech; Jamie Jones, Allegheny College (Pa.); and Steve
White and J.C. Teetoff, Lees-McCrae Junior College.
Cyrus also announced that parents of prospective Nitro football

players should attend a meeting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the school
cafeteria concerning plans for the upcoming year.
